STUDENTS PREPARE FOR THE NEW CREATIVE AND MEDIA DIPLOMA
On Friday 17 October, a group of Year 9 students visited the Dome in Doncaster to attend the National Diploma Roadshow. The visit helped students to find out information about the new Level 2 Creative and Media Diploma course starting in Year 10 next September. This new Applied Learning qualification, part of the Government’s 14-19 plans, will enable students to learn about art and design, performing arts and media in a practical way, whilst developing work-related skills such as problem solving and teamwork. Students enjoyed a ‘hands on’, interactive experience of what it will be like studying the new qualification.
